Office Assistant

The Office Assistant is a part-time, 15-hour per week, paid student employment position that works directly with Office of Residence Life staff to ensure student needs are addressed. The core responsibility of this position is to provide excellent customer service to students, faculty, staff, and external constituents and assist with administrative tasks of Office of Residence Life.

Resident Assistant

A Resident Assistant (RA) is an unpaid student leadership position offered to full-time students at Saint Peter’s University who serve as community developers and administrators for students residing on a specific floor and/or building. Resident Assistants are integral members of the Office of Residence Life team whose specific responsibilities will vary based on the needs of their assigned community. While every RA directly reports to a specific Community Director, they may also receive additional supervision and direction from the Administrative Assistant, Graduate Assistant, another Community Director, Assistant Director(s), the Director of Residence Life, and/or the Administrator On Duty. Resident Assistants receive a free meal plan and a free housing assignment in one of our residence halls as compensation.

Summer Opportunities

We offer student employment roles in the summer term that support our housing operation and residents. These roles offer great development in personal leadership, teamwork, administrative tasks, and conflict and time management.

 

Summer Housing Assistant

The Summer Housing Assistant (HA) position is a part-time student paraprofessional position within the Office of Residence Life and is responsible for performing a variety of supervision, administrating functions, and providing quality customer service. The HA Position will require a 10-20 hour work week. These hours will be spent working on certain projects throughout the residential communities on campus.
