Honors student Alejandro Gonzalez ’21 has been awarded a prestigious American Chemical Society Scholarship. Gonzalez, a Biochemistry and Biotechnology major, is also a SURGE Fellow at Saint Peter’s University. Jeanette Wilmanski, Ph.D., assistant director of the honors program, accompanied honors students Newstein Chang ’19 and Daniel Gotshall ’20 to the 2019 National Collegiate Honors Council conference in Boston, where Gotshall presented “Patterns in Variations of the Fibonacci Sequence” and Chang presented “Effects of elevated pCO2 levels on freshwater zebrafish (Danio rerio) early life development.”
