2020 Thesis Defenses move online

Due to the recent outbreak of COVID-19, and in accordance with Governor Murphy’s declaration of a state of emergency and related decisions, the Saint Peter’s University campus is temporarily closed. All university classes and everyday operational functioning will be taking place virtually.

In the spring, the Bastek Honors Center is usually full of life and home to many special events. Since the movement of all university functions online, many of the events we normally look forward to in the spring semester have been postponed or cancelled. This is true of the Honors Program’s Senior Thesis Defenses. In response, the Honors Program is allowing students to present their theses virtually in a variety of ways — Google Meets, Youtube Live, and voice-over PowerPoint presentations.

We are proud of our Honors students and how hard they have worked over the past year to complete their research. We invite you to support our students by attending their thesis presentations remotely.
