And the Bake Off winner is…

The History Department would like to thank all who came to the 6th Annual Book Fair & Bake Off in the department on Wednesday, 9 October and made the afternoon so much fun. The winner of this year’s Bake Off is Dr. Maria Americo with her Gooey Cookie Brownie! Her simple recipe beat out a competition of candy concoctions, proving sometimes tried and true is the best way to a student’s stomach!

Along with getting some tasty treats, students were able to take home free history books on topics ranging from medieval England to the African diaspora. Books flew off shelves and baked goods flew off trays! Check out @spuhistory on Facebook for more pictures!
