In honor of Women’s History Month, Joetta Clark Diggs, 4-time Olympian, visited Saint Peter’s for an inspirational presentation and book signing in Pope Lecture Hall. Diggs is a 1988, 1992, 1996 and 2000 Olympian who has made an indelible impact in sports and society. In her legendary career as a half-mile runner, Clark Diggs was one of the best middle distance runners in the world. After retiring she has made her contribution to society as an inspiring motivational speaker, respected businesswoman, critically acclaimed author, noted television personality and advocate for children’s health and fitness.

During the presentation, Clark Diggs discussed her path to success and provided students with advice for pursuing their passion through preparedness and patience.”Give the world your best and the best will come back to you,” she said.
