Girl Scouts Explore the Fun of Science with Saint Peter’s Chemistry & Education Students

girl scoutsThe chemistry department recently hosted 85 daisy and brownie girl scouts from the Heart of N.J. Girl Scout Council for an afternoon of science experiments and fun. Twenty three students from the education and science departments, including students from the Collins Chemistry Society, the Gamma Sigma Epsilon Chemistry honor society and the Mendel Biology Club, supervised the experiments. Scouts carried out five sets of experiments, including “bloody writing,” shown in the above picture.
