Educational Opportunities
Employee Tuition Remission
Undergraduate Coursework:
After completion of 90-days of service, all full-time employees of the University are entitled to receive 100% remission of tuition and fees for undergraduate courses incurred in furtherance of their own education at the University.
Graduate Coursework:
After completion of 90-days of service, all full-time employees of the University are entitled to receive 100% remission of tuition and fees for graduate courses (excluding doctorate level courses and online program courses) and a 50% remission of tuition and fees for doctorate level courses taken in furtherance of their own education at the University up to a maximum of 12 credits per fiscal year (July 1st to June 30th).
Dependent Tuition Remission
Undergraduate Coursework:
After the completion of 1 year of service, the employee’s dependent children are entitled to receive 100% remission of tuition for undergraduate courses, excluding room and board, and fees. After the completion of 1 year of service, the employee’s spouse is entitled to receive 50% remission of tuition for undergraduate courses. Other than as specifically stated, this benefit does not extend to any other members of the employee’s family or to non-dependent children of the employee.
Graduate Coursework:
The employee’s dependent children and spouse are entitled to each receive 50% remission of tuition for graduate courses (excluding doctorate level courses and online program courses).
Tuition Exchange Program (FACHEX)
The University participates in the Jesuit Tuition Exchange Program (FACHEX), Tuition Exchange Program and the Council of Independent University Tuition Program. All of these programs provide an opportunity for dependents of full-time employees of the University who are eligible for tuition remission to enroll in a university other than Saint Peter’s University and receive tuition remission.
Additional Remission Benefits
Saint Peter’s University offers opportunities for tuition benefits for St. Peter’s Preparatory School, Saint Dominic’s Academy, Hudson Catholic and Primary Prep.
