Gineen Abuali ’21 inducted into Alpha Sigma Nu

Gineen Abuali ’21, was recently inducted into Alpha Sigma Nu, the National Jesuit Honor Society. Alpha Sigma Nu recognizes students in the top 15 percent of their class and who excel in scholarship, loyalty and service, and promote Ignatian values for life.

Gineen is a History and Political Science double major and a member of the Honors Program. Recently, she was awarded the PNC Barry Gillman Humanitarian Scholarship in recognition of her community involvement and volunteer work. She is a commuter student from North Bergen, NJ, and serves as a senator for the Student Government Association (SGA) and the president of the Muslim Student Association (MSA). Additionally, Gineen is the work-study assistant for the History Department. We are proud to share this exceptional accomplishment with her.
