Travis Whisler serves as the Vice President for Student Affairs at Saint Peter’s University, providing leadership and strategic direction for Campus Safety, Counseling & Psychological Services (CAPS), the Dean of Students Office, Dining, Disability Services, Health Services, Residence Life, and Student Involvement. He was appointed to the permanent role in July 2025 after serving as Interim Vice President for one year. Since joining Saint Peter’s in 2015, Travis has also held roles as Assistant Director and Director of Residence Life, and Dean of Students.

A student-centered and data-informed leader, Travis is dedicated to fostering belonging, engagement, and well-being across the student experience. His initiatives have included the development of a more student-focused conduct model, the launch of the Student Belonging Project to assess and strengthen campus connection, and modernizing Health Services and Title IX processes. He has also played a key role in expanding the residential population and deepening collaboration across university departments.

Travis earned his Bachelor of Science in Sociology with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Central Missouri and a Master of Education in Counseling with an emphasis in College Student Development from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois.
