Saint Peter’s University offers free tuition for qualified veterans and dependents as part of the Yellow Ribbon Program.

The Post 9/11 GI Bill, also referred to as Chapter 33, offers veterans who have served after September 10, 2001 financial assistance in order to pursue higher education. The amount of financial assistance from VA is dependent upon the veteran’s length of service after 9/11/01. Saint Peter’s University has chosen to waive 100 percent of the additional tuition for eligible students.

Veterans who qualify for 100 percent of the Post 9/11 GI Bill benefits can receive this additional funding. Students interested in utilizing veterans’ benefits while attending Saint Peter’s University should visit www.va.gov to get information about programs such as the GI Bill.
Saint Peter’s University also participates in the Yellow Ribbon program, contributing 50% of those tuition charges not covered by the Post 9/11 GI Bill. With the 50% match from the VA through this program, it may be possible for students to attend at little or no cost. Further information about this program can be obtained at www.gibill.va.gov.
