Academic Standing

Mission Statement

The mission of Academic Standing is to aid students on Academic Probation. Through the guidance of CASE and the director of Student Academic Support Services, students on Academic Probation are academically advised, made aware of academic and non-academic support services and mentoring throughout their time on academic probation. The goal is for the student to achieve Good Academic standing at Saint Peter’s University.

What to do while on Academic Probation

  1. Attend workshops see Peacock connect for dates and times
  2. Get tutoring
    1. STEM
    2. Learning Support
  3. Review midterm grades with an academic advisor or CASE
  4. Meet with an academic advisor before registration

Students that were Suspended yet granted an appeal

  • Follow all the steps for What to do while on Academic Probation
  • Meet with the Director of Student Academic Support Services located in CASE
