Study Abroad

Financing

Financial Aid

Your ability to use financial aid to help cover the costs of your time abroad depends on the program you choose. Be sure to discuss your plans with your financial aid counselor.  In general, participants in Saint Peter’s University exchange programs can use both their institutional and government aid toward their study abroad experience. Students enrolled in affiliate and outside programs may be able to use government aid, including student loans.

Note: A student’s enrollment in a program of study approved for credit by the institution may be considered enrollment at the home institution for the purpose of applying for assistance under the Federal Student Aid programs.

Scholarships and Fellowships

Scholarship and fellowship programs offer additional ways to pay for your study abroad experience. Do not assume that you are not eligible for an award. Review program requirements carefully and apply for multiple awards to increase your chances of success!
