Academic Support Services

The STEM Engagement & Empowerment Center provides academic support services for all STEM students. 

Peer Tutoring

All peer tutors who are hired have a minimum of a 3.4 cumulative GPA and at least 45 credits. Each student has at least a B in the subjects in which they tutor. To make an appointment, please download the Navigate student app.

Loaner Programs

  • Textbooks: Apply here to rent currently stocked books from the STEM Center.
  • Laptops: Apply here for laptop loaners. Students are able to use the provided laptop until they graduate, but will be required to check them in. This is on a first-come first-serve basis, and priority will be given to pell-eligible students.
  • Graphing Calculators: Apply here to rent a calculator on either a daily or semester long basis.
  • Chemistry Modeling Kits: Apply here to rent a chemistry modeling kit on a semester basis.
