Pre-Service Teachers and Professor Attend Math Conference

On Thursday, December 8, James Clayton, Ph.D., associate professor in the school of education, took six students from his math methods class to West Windsor, N.J., for the Annual Conference of the Association of Mathematics Teachers of New Jersey (AMTNJ). The students volunteered to assist in various capacities. Dr. Clayton presented a workshop titled “Yes, We Can Involve Social Justice Issues in Elementary Mathematics Classes!”
