Adelia “Dee Dee” Faison Moore, associate director, events and partnerships, for Initiative, a marketing communications agency within the Interpublic network of companies, spoke to Adjunct Professor Kimberley Norsworthy’s marketing communications class. Moore talked to students about cause and mission related marketing and the intricacies of the FDA’s Fresh Empire campaign, which she oversees.

Fresh Empire is the FDA’s first public education program designed to prevent tobacco use among at-risk, multicultural youth. Moore works with the FDA to activate more than 500 Fresh Empire events around the country. Saint Peter’s University marketing communications students learned how these events are planned and executed.
