The Caulfield School of Education announces a NJDOE approved graduate program for teacher certification in Teaching Preschool-Grade 3. Courses are taught by full time and adjunct faculty with experience in teaching young diverse groups of learners. The program leads to a recommendation for certification in P-3 teaching.

Tuition is $870/credit. Those students who work in partner schools or districts are eligible for a 20% tuition discount for this program.

The 36 credit program is designed for completion in one year. The courses are:

• Science of Reading for Early Learners: Teaching reading, comprehension skills, and introduction to children’s literature

• Foundations of Literacy in Primary-Grade 3 and Elementary School
• Assisting Students with Special Needs in the General Education Classroom
• Universal Design for Learning
• Clinical Practice I
• Clinical Practice II
