Saint Peter’s NJ School Choice Summit 2015

education panelIn commemoration of National School Choice Week, Choice Media and the Saint Peter’s University School of Education invited education reform leaders, teachers, parents and legislators from across New Jersey for a timely, important, and uplifting meeting about education reform and school choice in the Garden State. The summit featured a variety of panels including a legislative panel, an urban education policy panel, a New Jersey charter school panel and more. Featured speakers at the event included Campbell Brown, former CNN host and founder of the Partnership for Educational Justice, and Cami Anderson, superintendent of Newark Public Schools.

Dr. Cornacchia gave the welcoming remarks and Joe Doria, dean of the School of Education at Saint Peter’s, moderated the first panel discussion, which included Senator Tom Kean, Senator Brian Stack, Assemblyman Troy Singleton and Assemblyman Dave Wolfe.
