Designation as a Leadership Fellow requires earning at least 30 points in both academic experiential components. The academic components can include both selected course work and research projects. The experiential component can include community service, leadership experiences, attendance at special events and service learning projects. Points are awarded as follows:

Induction into National Society of Leadership and Success – 5 points
Captain of Varsity or Intramural sport – 3 points
President of club – 3 points
Officer of club – 2 points
Event Attendance (CLEW, Guarini Institute or Center for Leadership Studies sponsored) – 2 points each
