A Bachelorʼs Degree in Project Management prepares students to work in various roles in project planning, execution, and control. Students will learn the fundamentals of project management, risk assessment, and team leadership.

Please note: Certain courses within this program are offered online through a partnership with Rize Education. All courses are evaluated, approved and assessed through Saint Peter’s standard governance processes and taught by participating faculty within a national consortium of accredited institutions. Students who successfully complete these courses earn Saint Peter’s University credits that are applied toward their degree.

Project Manager
Project managers oversee the planning, execution, and completion of projects. They manage teams, allocate resources, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Technical Project Manager
Technical project managers specialize in projects involving technology or engineering. They bridge the gap between technical teams and stakeholders, ensuring project requirements are met and technical solutions are implemented effectively.

Program Manager
Program managers oversee multiple related projects, ensuring they align with the organizationʼs strategic goals. They manage project managers, coordinate resources, and monitor the overall progress of the program.

Risk Manager
Risk managers identify and assess risks associated with projects. They develop risk management plans, implement mitigation strategies, and monitor risks throughout the project lifecycle.

Product Manager
Product Managers oversee the development and lifecycle of a product, working closely with teams like engineering, marketing, and sales to ensure the product meets customer needs and business goals. They prioritize features, set product roadmaps, and make data-driven decisions based on market research.

Director of Product Management
Directors of Product Management lead a team of Product Managers, guiding the strategic direction of multiple products or product lines. They align product strategy with company goals and work closely with executive leadership to drive innovation and manage product portfolios.

Head of Product
The Head of Product is responsible for the overall product strategy and vision of the company, leading the entire product management organization. They ensure alignment with the companyʼs long-term goals and work with C-suite executives to drive growth and product innovation

course highlights

Introduction to Project Management
This foundational course provides an overview of project management principles, including key concepts, frameworks, and tools. Students will learn about project planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.

Project Planning
This course focuses on creating realistic and achievable project plans by balancing scope, cost, time, resources, risk, quality and stakeholder expectations. Students will develop project management plans and schedules using industry-standard tools.

Project Execution, Monitoring & Control, Implementation & Closure
Students will learn how to execute, monitor, and control projects to ensure successful completion. The course covers risk management, quality assurance, and project closure procedures.

Advanced Project Management Capstone
In this capstone course, students will manage a simulated project from scope to completion. The course emphasizes hands-on experience in project lifecycle management, stakeholder communication, and the use of project management software.
