The Pauw Wow’s Rose Driscoll ’14 Wins First Place!
In the Society of Professional Journalists competition, Rose Driscoll ’14, The Pauw Wow‘s former editor-in-chief and current managing editor, won first place for “General News Reporting” for her story “Is Jersey City the New Brooklyn?” She beat out writers from Yale and Harvard, as well as other Ivy League schools who compete in this division. Driscoll will now go on to compete in the national Excellence in Journalism competition this September in Nashville, Tenn. The Society of Professional Journalists Mark of Excellence award is the most prestigious journalism award given to college journalists. Congratulations, Rose!
