James J. Clayton, Ed.D., Associate Professor in the School of Education, Presents at NJEA in Atlantic City

On November 9, 10 and 11, Saint Peter’s University sent a contingent of administrators, teachers and admissions officers to Atlantic City for the annual NJEA Teachers Convention. On Thursday, November 10, Dr. James Clayton addressed the New Jersey State Board of Education regarding the negative impact of current regulations for student teachers, explaining that the additional time demands and testing costs are discouraging teacher candidates statewide. On Friday, November 11, Dr. Clayton presented a professional development workshop on questioning strategies.
