Saint Peter’s Professors Present Workshops at AMTNJ

professorsJames Clayton, Ph.D., and Nicole Luongo, Ph.D., both associate professors of the School of Education, offered workshops for the Association of Mathematics Teachers of New Jersey at the AMTNJ winter conference held on Thursday, February 7, at the Crowne Plaza in Monroe, N.J. The conference’s theme was “Charting a New Course: Instructional Strategies to Implement Common Core Standards.” Dr. Luongo’s workshop was titled “Integrating 2.0 Technology to Teach Common Core Math Standards (K-5)” and Dr. Clayton’s workshop was titled “Powerful, Playful Paper-Folding!” Both workshops were well received.
