The Office of Communications and Marketing at Saint Peter’s University advances the mission and reputation of the University by strategically shaping and sharing its story across multiple platforms. Through integrated communications, branding, public relations, web services and digital engagement, we connect and inspire our internal and external communities. We serve as brand stewards, ensuring consistency, clarity and creativity in every message through media outreach, social media, email communications, advertising, graphic design and website management. Public Relations & Media
The Office of Communications & Marketing is the University’s liaison to all media, both earned and owned, in advancing our mission.

Branding
The Saint Peter’s University brand is more than our name or logo. It’s the way we look, act and speak. Our brand is the essence of this institution.This means that when you execute a brand, there is a reason behind every visual or verbal decision you make. That is why it is critically important to ensure our brand is used correctly, especially to external audiences.
Please be sure to familiarize yourself with our Branding & Logo Standards Policy. Any usage of the official University logo, seal and marks must be reviewed and approved by our team. Only files of this logo provided by our team are considered official logos of the University.

Need help creating something while making sure it represents our brand? We are here to help! Most projects will take approximately 1 week. Please reach out to Meghan Boyd and/or Paul Vanderberg to get your project started.
Licensing
As with Branding, using our logo for Licensing is just as important for the representation of Saint Peter’s University. The University is partnered with Learfield, LLC. for all licensing requests. We recommend using one of the preferred vendors below to ensure your project is reviewed and approved by the Office of Communications & Marketing before going to print as part of the process with Learfield:

Web Presence
Have a request to update your web pages? Need to discuss the creation of a new page? All web requests and pertinent files should be submitted via our web request ticketing system. Please note that this request process is for both our external site and intranet.

The Office of Communications & Marketing produces both print and digital publications to the greater Saint Peter’s University community.

The Peacock Press
Issued once a week via email to the Saint Peter’s University community and friends, it highlights events and news updates on both students and staff.
Want to be featured in The Peacock Press? Email thepeacockpress@saintpeters.edu with all relevant information and images each Friday. The Office of Communications & Marketing does not guarantee that all submissions will be used. All submissions will be reviewed against the department’s Communications strategy.
Please note that The Peacock Press does not publish in the summer (June through August).
Magis
Sent monthly to University alumni, Magis features relevant news stories and information to this audience to keep them informed and advance the University’s mission.
Social Media
The Office of Communications & Marketing manages all official social media accounts associated with the University. This includes Facebook (University and alumni pages), Instagram, X/Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok and YouTube.
Please be sure to refer to the Employee Handbook (internal audience only; login required) provided by the Office of Human Resources for the University’s current policies regarding the use of primary, secondary and personal social media when representing Saint Peter’s University.
If you manage an unofficial social media account associated with the University (program, student club, etc.), our team is happy to provide best practices and subject matter expertise to ensure alignment with the University.
