Saint Peter’s Faculty Show Their Peacock Pride at Women’s Soccer Game

Faculty members come together to support student-athletes on and off the field

Supporting our Peacocks goes beyond the classroom! On Wednesday, October 21, Saint Peter’s University faculty members came together to cheer on the women’s soccer team during its 3 p.m. home game at Joseph J. Jaroschak Field.

Among those showing their support was Dr. Alorbi, the team’s academic advisor, who regularly attends games to cheer on the student-athletes.

Dr. Guerrero and Dr. Subramaniam were also in attendance, supporting students from the Frank J. Guarini School of Business while cheering on student-athletes representing other academic majors across the University.

Dr. Gerlach also showed his support, highlighting Wilma Thodhlana, a member of the women’s soccer team who is currently enrolled in his History of the Environment course.

The afternoon served as another reminder that Peacock pride extends beyond academics. Whether in the classroom or on the field, the Saint Peter’s community continues to find ways to show up for one another.

Looking for a way to show your Peacock pride? Consider attending an upcoming athletic event and cheering on our student-athletes as they represent Saint Peter’s University!
