“Ecosystems of New Jersey” Summer Class Led Students on Five Field Trips

Over three weeks in late May to early June 2026, Dr. Kathy Wydner’s “Ecosystems of New Jersey” summer class led Saint Peter’s students on five field trips to learn about the amazing biodiversity and diverse physiogeographic regions of our state. In addition to Double Trouble State Park and the Pine Barrens, experiential learning experiences included Stokes State Forest and High Point State Park, Scherman Hoffman Wildlife Sanctuary and the Great Swamp National Wildlife Refuge, Cheesequake State Park, and Liberty State Park.
