Vice President for Enrollment Management and Marketing Elizabeth Sullivan Named President-Elect of the Board of Directors for the National Catholic College Admission Association

Jersey City, N.J. – February 28, 2021 – Saint Peter’s University today announced that Elizabeth Sullivan, vice president for enrollment management and marketing, has been appointed president-elect of the Board of Directors for the National Catholic College Admission Association (CCAA). Sullivan began her three-year term in October 2020. The  term consists of one year as president-elect, which she is currently serving, one year as president, beginning October 2021, and a third year as past-president, which will begin October 2022.

“It is an honor to be recognized by my fellow members of the National CCAA,” said Elizabeth Sullivan, vice president for enrollment management and marketing Saint Peter’s University. “I look forward to working with my fellow Board members, all of whom bring a wide range of experience and perspective to the table. We will continue to collaborate to promote the value of Catholic higher education; remaining true to the mission of the association. Additionally, our member colleges and universities will continue to be resources to our college counseling colleagues. We all need to support each other as we emerge from this challenging times.”

Currently, more than 120 Catholic colleges and universities are member institutions. The National CCAA is led by a Board of Directors comprised of an executive director, admission and enrollment leaders from member institutions and secondary school counselors from Catholic high schools. Established in 1959, the National CCAA is a nonprofit organization of Catholic colleges and universities committed to promoting the value of Catholic higher education and to serving students, parents and counselors.

Sullivan earned a B.A. in psychology from Ithaca College and a M.S. in college student development and counseling from Northeastern University. She has been an active board member of the National CCAA since January 2018 and served as one of the Mid-Atlantic Regional Representatives until she joined the Executive Board this December.    Additionally, over the years Sullivan has been a member and served various state/regional associations for college admission counseling. In July 2020, she was invited to serve on the Board of Trustees for Christian Brothers Academy (Syracuse, NY), a private Catholic school and her alma mater.
