Saint Peter’s Introduces a Redesigned M.B.A. Program that is Now Available Fully Online

Jersey City, N.J. – May 19, 2020 – Saint Peter’s University today announced that the Frank J. Guarini School of Business has launched a fully online M.B.A. program, designed to meet the needs of today’s working professionals and to further incorporate the most in-demand market skills. The 36-credit M.B.A. program will also continue to be available in the traditional, in-person format. New M.B.A. courses have been added and existing courses have been redesigned to reflect the changing needs in industry and the most up to date skill sets in demand by employers.

“When we announced the Frank J. Guarini School of Business this past fall, we committed to the mission of ensuring graduates would be prepared with the knowledge and skill sets for prominent careers in a variety of industries,” said Mary Kate Naatus, Ph.D., KPMG dean of the Frank J. Guarini School of Business. “These new advancements help us to further that mission and the new online format option will make a Saint Peter’s graduate education even more accessible.”

The online M.B.A. program is designed to be completed within 18 months. Added benefits of the new program include IBM certifications that have been embedded into the curriculum, a strong focus on data and analytical tools, more robust coursework in program concentrations and more flexible course delivery. These changes were made in response to data analysis of Indeed and LinkedIn professional job postings and keyword analysis, as well as survey input from current and prospective students and alumni.

“Through this research we are now confident to say that Saint Peter’s students are graduating from our M.B.A. program with the most desired industry skills in the Northeast,” said Joseph Gilkey, Ph.D., associate professor and chair of the business administration department and director of the M.B.A. program.

The M.B.A. program at Saint Peter’s University is accredited through the International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE).
