More than 40 Students Inducted into National Honor Society

More than 40 students at Saint Peter’s University were recently inducted into the Chi Alpha Epsilon National Honor Society.On Thursday, November 19, family, friends and faculty gathered in the McIntyre Conference Center to celebrate the inductees as they were formally pinned and became official members of the Society.

The Beta Pi chapter of Chi Alpha Epsilon was chartered at Saint Peter’s in 2003 by the Educational Opportunity Fund (EOF). The Chi Alpha Epsilon National Honor Society recognizes the academic achievements of students admitted to colleges and universities through opportunity programs and requires members to attain a 3.0 or better for two consecutive semesters.

In addition, Alexis Agosto, junior and senior academic counselor of the EOF program, was inducted as an honorary member.
