The Guarini Institute sponsored the Hudson County Chamber of Commerce Local Government Panel

October 9, 2015 — Partnering with the Guarini Institute, the Hudson County Chamber of Commerce hosted panelists including County Executive DeGise, State Senator Cunningham, State Assemblyman Raj Mukherji, Freeholder O’Dea, and Deputy Mayor Vigil.  The panel was moderated by Saint Peter’s Professor Phillip Plotch.  Issues related to taxes, transportation, infrastructure and others were discussed.

United Nations Sustainability Panel to Discuss Environmental Sustainability & Risk Management

October 6, 2015 – Professor Alexander Mirescu moderated a panel of distinguished guests including Glenn Dolcemascolo and Esteban Olhagary from the United Nations and Stephen Marks, Municipal Manager from the City of Hoboken.  Panelists discussed disaster risk management efforts and how cities can better prepare for climate disasters.

Senator Sandra Cunningham Speaks with Saint Peter’s Students!

October 1, 2015– Senator Cunningham came to the Saint Peter’s campus to speak with students about her life and experiences as an elected official.  Students filled the McIntyre Room and engaged in discussion with the Senator while enjoying some pizza!
