Local Entrepreneur/Artisan Holiday Sale
On December 9th, the Ignite Institute Hosted a Local Entrepreneur/Artisan Holiday Sale in partnership with Campus Ministry and the Social Justice Program.
The vendors who participated in this inaugural event were Taproot Organics, Stacey Renee Designs, Angel Hugs for All, Setzer Silver Design, The Hat Studio, The Lucky Honeybee Candles and Apothecary and KC Accessories. Linya Wang, an MBA student at Saint Peter’s University exhibited his original origami art at the sale as well.
This holiday sale was just one of many local events this holiday season showcasing the talents and innovative products of the local business community. The Jersey City Project Market, Historic Downtown JC Project Market, The Riverview Farmers Market in Jersey City Heights, and the Public School # 5 Holiday Bazaar all showcased the local small business community and showed how Jersey City consumers are embracing the shop local mentality.
