What was your major at SPU?
I majored in sports management as part of the Frank J. Guarini School of Business and graduated in 2025.
Besides baseball, what other clubs or activities did you participate in?
I was a part of ResLife (Residence Life) as a Resident Assistant (RA) for Durant Hall. I was also involved in working the front desk in the gym and game room on the fourth floor of the Mac Mahon Student Center during night hours. I was very close to many professors and staff at Saint Peter’s, such as campus safety, the chefs at the dining hall, and the cleaning crew.
What attracted you to the baseball program here?
The fact that it was D1 and how close it was to NYC. I came in with the goal to become an All-MAAC player and be a change agent for the program. Playing baseball down south when I was younger, I wanted to venture out to somewhere new for the opportunities and experiences. I have made so many more baseball and professional connections through meeting new people up north.
You graduated and started playing with the Banana Ball Championship League, which started as an exhibition league in 2023. It has gotten so popular and is now an official league! How did that opportunity come about for you?
I played in the Coastal Plain League (CPL) the year the Savannah Bananas left to do their own thing. I had the opportunity to play with some of the Bananas in the CPL so once I was in my senior year at Saint Peter’s, they put in a good word for me and got me in contact with the Bananas recruiter. I then was on the Visitors, which was the developmental team and played 3 three games against the Party Animals and 2 games against the Bananas. I played very well, hitting three home runs in five games and then got drafted to the newest team, Loco Beach Coconuts!
What has been one of your most exciting experiences playing for the Loco Coco Beach Coconuts? You recently got to play a game at Walt Disney World!
Meeting the kids and getting to put on a show for fans is incredibly fun. We’re putting on a show, playing high level baseball and dancing! Getting to meet the fans in person before and after games is so rewarding. I get to talk about the show, life, and all you can think of with the fans and be there for them. Playing at Disney World was special, especially since I hit a walk off home run in the bottom of the ninth. The crowd was so electric and to have Mickey and Minnie and Stitch out there with us was special as well. I also did a collaboration with Walt Disney World at Typhoon Lagoon where we did a teen beach movie musical, which Disney posted along with my account that reached over 1.4 million views!
How did being a part of Saint Peter’s prepare you for this?
At Saint Peter’s, I met so many people of diverse backgrounds in our community. Through Banana Ball, I have met so many people from all around the world. When I meet these fans, it’s the same exact thing so it made that very easy for me because I had that experience at Saint Peter’s.
What advice do you have for any incoming freshman or new students at Saint Peter’s?
My advice would be to show up on time and get to meet your professors. I had such good relationships with my professors who helped me along the way and not just when I was done with their class. Post graduation, I’m still communicating with them and keeping those connections. I would also say to enjoy campus life. Saint Peter’s is a small close family unit and I still talk to tons of people from SPU!
