The Guarini School of Business at Saint Peter’s University has received specialized accreditation for its business programs through the International Accreditation Council for Business Education (IACBE) located at 11374 Strang Line Road in Lenexa, Kansas, USA. The Saint Peter’s University Teacher Preparation Program, which is designed to prepare graduates to enter elementary and secondary classrooms as caring and professionally prepared teachers, be grounded in the subject matter content of their academic discipline, be knowledgeable in teaching methodology, assess outcomes effectively, be ethical leaders in the field who understand the enormous responsibility they assume being a teacher, and demonstrate professional attitude and behavior, is accredited by the Teacher Educator Accreditation Council (TEAC) for its initial and advanced teaching programs.
The initial programs accredited by TEAC are: Elementary Education (K-6), Secondary Education, Master of Arts: Teaching, Master of Arts: Reading, and Teaching Certification. In addition, the advanced programs accredited by TEAC are: Middle School Teacher Endorsements (Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, and Language Arts/Literacy), MA Special Education: ABA, MA Special Education: Literacy, and Special Education Certification – Teacher of Students with Disabilities. TEAC accreditation has been awarded through June 2023. This accreditation certifies that the Teacher Preparation Program has provided evidence that it adheres to TEAC’s standards.
