About Dr. Remley
I graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in economics. I then went on to law school, after which I clerked for an appellate court judge. I practiced law in Washington DC for a number of years. In the 2000’s I went back to school to study philosophy first at Georgetown University and then at the New School for Social Research in New York City. I have been teaching philosophy at the undergraduate level since 2013.

Research Interests
I write primarily about 19th and 20th century political philosophy, but my interests include Critical Theory, Phenomenology, Legal Theory, and Critical Race Theory.
