Classes Get Real-World Advice

Freddy Carrera ’09, the CEO and founder of Novofex, a digital marketing agency, and Perkins Choute ’12, digital strategist at Novofex , visited Mary Kate Naatus, Ph.D.’s honors management class and digital and social media marketing class on Thursday, November 9. They led students in a lively discussion on entrepreneurship and start-ups, the importance of digital marketing, and how to finance and grow a small business. In addition, they shared advice with the students about how to prepare for different career paths in business and gave input on how businesses can brand themselves and run promotions on digital media.
