Academic Advising

Academic Advising

What courses should you take? What courses MUST you take?

It can all get a little confusing. That’s why we can help with class scheduling, registration, course guidance and general academic questions.

Saint Peter’s University opened its new Academic Advising Center in the Fall of 2002 in order to better provide our students with additional assistance regarding class scheduling, registration, course guidance and general academic questions.

The purpose of Academic Advising is to support the University’s current academic advising program which matches each first year student with a faculty adviser until the major is declared. Faculty from many different departments and programs serve as the first year advisers.

Located on the lower level of McDermott Hall, Academic Advising houses four work areas for student-adviser meetings, and additional computer stations for students to peruse registration and course-related materials.
