Alumni and Friends Dine Together to Support St. Aedan’s Church
On May 29, Eugene Flinn ’80 and his wife Joyce opened the doors to their Hoboken restaurant Amanda’s to more than 100 alumni, faculty, administrators and friends of Saint Peter’s University. All guests were treated to a five course dinner with wine pairings, compliments of the co-owners, with all ticket sales directly benefiting St. Aedan’s: The Saint Peter’s University Church.
“Saint Peter’s University is grateful for the generosity and support of all of our alumni and friends,” said Eugene J. Cornacchia, Ph.D., president of Saint Peter’s University. “Gifts from generous donors, such as Eugene and Joyce, help us to maintain critical components of our mission and achieve our goals. We hope that their belief in our mission will inspire others to connect with Saint Peter’s.”
The evening provided an opportunity for former classmates to unite and for new friendships to be formed. Guests were even treated to an impromptu rendition of Io Pavo, which was performed by former members of the Glee Club that were in attendance.
