Saint Peter’s Wins MAAC Championship!

The men’s basketball team captured its third MAAC Championship in team history and secured a berth in the 2011 NCAA Men’s Basketball Championship with a win over the Iona Gaels 62-57. This is the Peacocks third trip to the national tournament, the first since 1995, where they will represent the MAAC. The Peacocks will learn their seeding and opponent in the NCAA tournament on Selection Sunday, which is scheduled to take place on March 13 at 6:00 p.m. ET on CBS.
