Three Saint Peter’s College Faculty members will sing in Carnegie Hall

THREE SAINT PETER’S COLLEGE FACULTY MEMBERS WILL SING IN CARNEGIE HALL

October 31, 2002— Jersey City, NJ – Three members of the Saint Peter’s College faculty who are members of the St. Cecilia Chorus and Orchestra will join the group in its performance at New York’s famed Carnegie Hall on December 7.

Associate Professor of History Dr. Sheila Rabin (Brooklyn, NY), Professor of Chemistry Dr. Patricia Redden (Jersey City, NJ) and Assistant Professor of Theology Susan Graham (Bayonne, NJ) are all members of the St. Cecilia Chorus. The Chorus, which includes 150 volunteers, has existed since 1906.
The group will perform Bach’s Magnificat and Mozart’s Requiem during the 8 p.m. concert.

Saint Peter’s College is the Jesuit College of New Jersey. Founded in 1872, Saint Peter’s has an enrollment of more than 3,000 students in undergraduate and graduate programs. The main campus is located in Jersey City and a branch campus, specializing in adult education, is located in Englewood Cliffs. Saint Peter’s also offers classes in downtown Jersey City near the waterfront financial district. -SPC-
