Yanitelli Center

870 Montgomery Street, Jersey City, NJ  (Site of basketball, swimming, tennis and volleyball contests)

NJ Turnpike – Exit 14 C (Holland Tunnel Exit)–Exit on “Jersey City” ramp; straight through traffic light and make a U-Turn. At the light, turn right onto Montgomery Street. Continue up the hill on Montgomery Street, which will level off for a few blocks until the intersection of Montgomery Street and Kennedy Blvd. Our campus is on that intersection and Yanitelli Center is on Montgomery St., between Kennedy Blvd. and West Side Ave.

Exit 15E – Follow signs for Rte. 1-9 North; cross over two draw bridges and straight at the intersection with Rte. 440; you are on Communipaw Ave., with Lincoln Park to your left; proceed to West Side Ave. traffic light and turn left; at the 4th traffic light on West Side Ave., turn right onto Montgomery St. Yanitelli Center is to your left.

Holland Tunnel – Immediately out of tunnel, bear left (Route 1 and 9). Remain near the middle, as you will be exiting soon. After the Route 1 and 9/New Jersey Turnpike divide, bear right and then exit at ramp for “Jersey City, Kennedy Blvd.”; proceed straight on the state service road until it ends at Kennedy Boulevard. Turn left (south) onto Kennedy Blvd. Follow it through Journal Square to Montgomery St. and turn right onto Montgomery Street. Yanitelli Center is on the right.

Lincoln Tunnel – Exit tunnel to NJ Turnpike and follow directions above; or, exit tunnel to Route 1-9 South and go to Tonnele Ave. traffic circle and then to Kennedy Blvd.; or, exit tunnel to Kennedy Blvd. and proceed south on Kennedy Blvd. to Montgomery Street, where you turn right and Yanitelli Center will be on the right.

Pulaski Skyway, Route 1-9 and Belleville Turnpike – All feed into the Tonnele Ave. traffic circle. From the circle go to Kennedy Blvd. and turn right (south); go a few blocks south to Montgomery Street and turn right; Yanitelli Center is on the right.

By Public Transportation

PATH – Trains have several stations in Jersey City, with rails running west to Harrison and Newark Penn Station and east to the World Trade Center and on a separate line to the east, terminating at 33rd Street in Manhattan, near Penn Station and Madison Square Garden. The official time for the longest trip from Journal Square–18 minutes to 33rd Street.

Numerous public bus lines pass Saint Peter’s University all day.

NJTurnpike – Exit 15E – After toll stay to the right and follow signs for Jersey City. Travel over two bridges and turn left onto Route 440. Once on Route 440, turn right at the first traffic light onto Duncan Avenue. Then make your first right into Lincoln Park; turn right again onto park roadway. After passing the blue running track on your right, turn right and cross over a small bridge. Jaroschak Field is at the end of the road.

Directions to Cochrane Stadium

New Jersey Turnpike (from North or South) – Interstate 78 merges with the New Jersey Turnpike from the West to form the extension, which has exits 14 A, 14 B and 14C Holland Tunnel (from the East–Long Island, New York City), follow signs to New Jersey Turnpike
New Jersey Turnpike Exit 14 B. After paying Turnpike toll, bear left to stop sign (see signs for Liberty State Park at the stop sign). At the stop sign, turn left. Immediately after going under an overpass, you will come to a traffic light. Turn right at the traffic light (Caven Point Road).You will be on a road in an undeveloped area.

Approximately 1 mile after turning at the traffic light, you will be at the intersection of Caven Point Road and Chapel Avenue. Turn left onto Chapel Avenue, which is marked with a yellow “No Outlet” sign. Immediately after turning onto Chapel Avenue you will see the enclosed parking lot for the Cochrane Stadium complex on your right. Cochrane Stadium is visible beyond the parking lot.
