Volvicson Joseph: “I will become an Advocate.”

Volvicson Joseph

“I want to be a prosecutor to make a difference and help underrepresented groups.”

Volvicson JosephVolvicson “Vic” Joseph has explored his passion for law while at Saint Peter’s and what it takes to be a prosecutor. “Through a connection I made at the University, I had the opportunity to meet a top prosecutor in New Jersey, one-on-one. Hearing what he’s done was an unbelievable experience.”

Vic also participated in the University’s prestigious Magis Leadership Conference where he learned the skills needed for a law career. “The Conference really taught me about how to become a servant leader by lifting others and challenging the status quo. Not everyone is born with those skills so it’s important to take the time to work on yourself.”

Saint Peter’s top-faculty also provided Vic with the tools and guidance needed to achieve his dream. “My favorite part of my time here has been the professors. I know I can always ask questions and they’ll provide me with the best advice.”

Outside of the classroom, Vic takes the Jesuit mission of servant leadership to heart by volunteering at a local elementary school with the University’s Health and Fitness Club. “We set up different stations and games for the kids to keep them active and teach them about healthy lifestyles. I love that I get to be a role model for them.”
