Flag football is one of the most exciting and popular intramural sports at Saint Peter’s University.\u00a0 Every year, Saint Peter’s Intramural Department selects the top male and female flag football players in the school to join an extramural flag football team.\u00a0 This team, known as SPU Select has gained a national reputation for being one of the best teams in the game.\u00a0 Led by a balanced offense and an airtight defense, the 2009 squad competed in both the New Jersey State Tournament and the Maryland Regional Tournament in November.<\/p>\n
