Dear Saint Peter’s Community,
For the third consecutive year the Department of Recreational Life will be helping support the Special Olympics of New Jersey by entering a team in the New York Giants Snow Bowl Flag Football Tournament, which will be held on March 3, 2013 in Met Life Stadium.
The team representing Saint Peter’s Recreational Life consists of staff members and alumni who were members of the SPC Select flag football team. The team is called The Ghosts of SPC.
The Ghosts of SPC have won the past two Snow Bowl tournaments in the co-ed division and have raised over $5000.00 total for Special Olympics of New Jersey.
This year The Ghosts will be vying for a third consecutive title and are committed to raising at least $2000.00 for Special Olympics.
There are three ways you can help support the very worthy cause of Special Olympics of NJ by making donations in the name of The Ghosts of SPC:
1 – Make a donation directly through The Ghosts’ team page on the Special Olympics website.

2 – Attend the fundraiser pizza lunch on Friday, February 15
For a $10 donation enjoy pizza donated by one of NYC’s legendary pizzerias, Famous Roio’s (aka Famous Ray’s) Pizza of Greenwich Village. The lunch will be held in the Peacock Cafe lobby of the RLC on February 15 at 12:00 PM. If you would like to attend the lunch please RSVP to Dave Bryngil at dbryngil@saintpeters.edu by 5:00 PM on Thursday, February 13.
3 – Purchase a Ghosts of SPC T-Shirt for $10
American Youth Enterprise has donated custom t-shirts to The Ghosts to be sold to help raise funds for Special Olympics of NJ. If you would like to reserve a shirt please contact Dave Bryngil with the quantity and sizes of shirts you would like to purchase. The design for the shirt is attached to this email. The artwork will be blue on the shirts.
