Alisha Goyco ’19 Awarded Gilman Scholarship for Spring 2017

The U.S. Department of State’s Gilman International Scholarship Program recently announced the awards offered to U.S. undergraduates who applied for spring 2017 scholarships.

The Gilman Scholarship Program reviewed over 2,700 applications for spring programs and just over 850 outstanding students were offered awards to participate in credit-bearing study abroad programs and career-oriented internships in countries all around the world. Alisha Goyco ’19 was bestowed an award to take intensive Korean language courses for the spring 2017 semester at Sogang University in Korea.
