Display of Notecards Provide 13 Reasons Why….Not

Throughout September, which is Suicide Prevention Awareness Month, CAPS and the peer educators embarked on a campaign to ask students what keeps them going when times get tough. They collected over 200 “reasons why not” on notecards. The goal was to highlight sources of support and strength that already exist, as well as to bring awareness to new ideas and methods for handling life’s challenges. The cards were on display in the Mac Mahon Student Center last week.
