Junior History Major Awarded Scholarship in Recognition of Volunteer Work

Gineen Abuali ’21 has been awarded a scholarship in recognition of her community involvement and volunteer work. Abuali is a commuter student from North Bergen, NJ, majoring in history, who serves as a senator for the Student Government Association (SGA) and the president of the Muslim Student Association (MSA).

The PNC Barry Gillman Humanitarian Scholarship recognizes outstanding students who demonstrate a commitment to serving the community through volunteer service. The Barry Gillman Humanitarian Scholarship honors the compassion and spirit of volunteerism embodied by the late Barry Gillman by encouraging undergraduate students to continue in their humanitarian work while attending college
