About Professor Horvat
Sandra D. Horvat, is a Clinical Assistant Professor in the School of Nursing at Saint Peter’s University since 2014. She currently teaches in the generic BSN and RN to BSN programs.
She received a diploma in nursing from St. Vincent Medical Center School of Nursing, associate degree in Natural Sciences from Lourdes College, a B.S.N. from Saint Peter’s College, a M.S.N. from Saint Peter’s College, and is currently a certified Ed.D. candidate in the Executive Program for Nurses at Teachers College, Columbia University.
Her clinical expertise includes community health nursing, medical/surgical nursing, pediatrics, and school nursing. She has also worked as an assistant nurse manager and nursing case manager.
