About Dr. Beerbower
Results-focused professor with ten years of teaching experience, extensive legal and accounting skills and a passion for sharing knowledge. My students are required to “get up on their feet” and make presentations and debate current, relevant accounting, business or sports law related issues.
“My teaching philosophy is simple. I strive to provide the students with confidence, knowledge and the tools to pursue their dreams. In my classroom, the students’ success comes first. My teaching style is interactive and engaging and I utilize classroom discussion, power-point presentations, real life examples from my career as an accountant and attorney and even incorporate games, such as Kahoot!™, Jeopardy™, and Flipquiz™ to promote students’ attention and retention of the material.”
