The Public Policy Program Visits the Art House in Jersey City [Gallery].

The Public Policy Program recently visited the Art House getting a first-hand look at one of the leading cultural centers in Jersey City. While at the Art House, Executive Director Christine Goodman talked extensively about seeing how the arts are transformative and how more “arts” not “less arts” is a way to build wholesome urban communities. The students were also given a personal tour of the new art gallery exhibit “After Image” by curators Arthur Bruso and Raymond Mingst.

Other events the students and instructors of the program have participated in include volunteering with Rebuilding Jersey City, Public Policy’s Day of Service, and meeting American historian Dr. Clement Alexander Price.
