Campus COVID-19 Updates
COVID-19 Information Center
January 12, 2022
I hope everyone enjoyed their holidays and had a restful break. We are just one week away from the start of classes for the spring semester. We have been working diligently over the past two weeks to prepare campus for your return and we can’t wait to welcome you back!
We have a great semester planned, full of exciting events and activities as we continue the yearlong celebration of our Sesquicentennial anniversary. I encourage all of you to get involved and try something new this semester. Check out The Peacock Press, distributed on Mondays via email, for the latest news and event details as well as Peacock Connect.
Resident students will be moving back into the residence halls on January 18. Please note that only two guests are allowed to assist residents with moving into the residence halls.
As I announced before the holiday break, to ensure that we can deliver the type of experience you deserve, Saint Peter’s is requiring all students who will be on campus—undergraduates, graduates, doctoral and professional and continuing studies— and all faculty, staff and administrators to receive the COVID-19 booster by March 1. Students that previously received medical or religious exemptions or are on a different vaccine schedule should contact firstname.lastname@example.org to discuss your situation and timeline.
Students must present evidence of having received a COVID-19 booster via this form by March 1.
The University will be hosting booster clinics for students, faculty, staff and administrators on campus at no cost. The dates and details will be announced at the start of the semester.
The FAQs at saintpeters.edu/covid19-updates have been updated and contain information on quarantining, masking, boosters and more. Please be sure to check the site for the most up to date information and answers to all of your questions regarding the spring semester.
I remind you that there is still time to register! The Offices of the Registrar (email@example.com), CASE (firstname.lastname@example.org), Student Accounts (email@example.com) and Financial Aid (firstname.lastname@example.org) are available to assist you.
Please know that the health and safety of our community continues to remain our top priority. I appreciate your ongoing efforts to keep our community safe and encourage you to continue to follow our on-campus health and safety policies.
Enjoy your remaining days of break. I look forward to seeing you next week!
