Our Alumni

Graduates of the Psychology Department are helping to build its reputation through their own accomplishments in industry and academia. The best way to learn the value of a Saint Peter’s Jesuit education is from those who have experienced it. Here’s some information about a few recent grads:

Ashley Costanza ’09
Went on to graduate school at Kean College. She received a MA in Educational Psychology and a Professional Diploma in School Psychology.

Danny K. Phillip ’08
In the process of completing a Psy.D in Clinical Psychology at Loyola University Maryland.

Louis Alfieri ’03
Received a PhD from CUNY in the Cognition, Brain, and Behavior program. He currently is a post-doctoral research associate at the University of Pittsburgh’s Learning Research and Development Center.

Luciane Paula-Pereira Pasarin ’01

Went on to graduate school for Cognitive Psychology at Stonybrook. She received her PhD and is currently an assistant professor at Caldwell College.

Carla Tharp ’01
Received a MA in Organizational Psychology at Teachers College, Columbia University and a Ph.D. in Higher Education, Policy and Research at Seton Hall University. She is currently Associate Vice President for Student Life and Development at Saint Peter’s.

Jennifer Aitken ’95
Received a MA in Counseling from New Jersey City University (NJCU). She is currently the Director of the Office of Specialized Services and Supplemental Instruction at NJCU.
